Advanced Lesion Removal

Enquire about an appointment

Important Medical Notice

Any lesion that is new, changing in size, shape or colour, bleeding or itching should be seen by your GP before any cosmetic treatment is considered.

Moles require written confirmation from a GP or Consultant Dermatologist before cosmetic removal can proceed.

What is Advanced Electrolysis?

Advanced electrolysis uses a tiny, sterile probe to deliver a small electrical current directly into the lesion. This cauterises or dries the targeted tissue, allowing it to be naturally shed by the body during the healing process.

Your treatment journey

Before & After Treatment

Before Your Appointment

  • Avoid active tanning and sunbeds before treatment.
  • Ensure the area is clean and free of makeup or creams.
  • Moles or suspicious lesions must be signed off by a GP or Consultant Dermatologist prior to treatment.
  • Let us know about any new medication or changes to your health.

After Your Appointment

  • The area will form a small scab or crust. Do not pick or scratch this, as it needs to fall off naturally.
  • Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid soaking in baths or swimming until the scab has healed.
  • Avoid active skincare ingredients and exfoliants until fully healed.
  • Protect the area with high-factor SPF once healed to prevent hyperpigmentation.
Questions clients ask

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be scarring after a blemish is removed?

The advanced electrolysis technique is very precise and designed to minimise damage to surrounding tissue. While a small mark or redness may appear initially, it typically fades as the skin heals, leaving little to no trace.

How long is the downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may experience slight redness, swelling, or a small crust in the treated area, which generally heals within a few days to a couple of weeks depending on the lesion.

Is the treatment permanent?

Yes, once a blemish like a skin tag or milia is successfully removed, it usually does not return. However, new blemishes can form over time depending on your skin type and lifestyle.
